Mother’s day photo shoot with lace and flowers

This year I’m not naming my mini, “Mommy & Me” for a very specific reason…I don’t want it just to be “Mommies” and their little ones…I want ALL Momma’s, with their older kids, their Moms, Mother-In-Laws, Great-Grandmas, Gigi’s, Nana’s, Granny’s, Nonna’s…whatever they’re called! Let’s get all the wonderful ladies in your life together and FINALLY get that shot! I truly believe and try to be mindful of the phrase “carpe diem”  which literally means, “pluck the day”. It was used by the Roman poet, Horace and his full draft was, “carpe diem quam minimum credulity postero,” translated to “pluck the day, trusting as little as possible in the next one.” You never know when or how life is going to change so stop waiting and wondering and let’s create those memories you’ll cherish forever.

Some of you may or may not know that last September I lost my maternal grandmother, Margaret Ann, she was such a wonderful person and above all my ROCK! She would listen to me for hours talk about life and let me just blab on about my photography business and what ideas I was spewing out! She ALWAYS listened and ALWAYS supported me…I miss our long talks, but one thing I’m grateful for is I got shots of her with my mother and daughter, images that can never happen again! I have regrets in life, but I’m so glad this isn’t on the list, not getting enough memories!  So my duty as a photographer goes above and beyond creating an image for you…it’s to help you prevent a regret in your life. Let me do this for you, it’s not a job taken lightly and always done with my whole heart! Here’s to celebrating all the momma’s and wonderful women in our lives!

My inspiration for this year’s design and photo above is from Ashlyn Lauren Photography, who did a wonderful setup for a past Mother’s Day shoot in Georgia (pictured above). I do not know her personally, but I did reach out and told her I loved it and that I was going to do a similar style. She then sent kind words and wished me luck, it’s great when you get to “meet” other creatives and they are open and positive! So for my version I’ll be incorporating white lace, english ivy, purple wisteria and lush fabrics! With the beautiful golden sun and overgrown landscape as other backdrops it will be so magical and dreamy! Since this shoot will look the absolute best during golden hour (the few hours before the sunsets) spots will be extremely limited compared to other mini shoots. Everything will be first come first serve and a contract plus session fee must be paid within 24 hours of inquiry to guarantee your spot.

IMPORTANT:

The session fee does not include any prints or digitals, a package must be chosen and paid for separately. You must choose a collection, a la carte items are only available as an add-on and can not be purchased in lieu of a package.

Email: hello@michelleannphoto.com with your preferred DATE and FIRST and SECOND choice time slots. Only the $75 session fee is due within 24 hours to reserve your date and time. I will invoice you and all payments are paid online with QuickBooks using your checking account only.

Choose your package AFTER the gallery is delivered and pay either in one installment or you can set-up a payment plan to fit your budget! After you choose your time I’ll follow up with the invoice and more details!
